| Political corruption affects us all |

|
| We elect politicians and political parties expecting them to act in the public interest |
Corruption exists almost in every country of modern world. Capitalists/
corporate sectors play important role to corrupt politicians by funding the elections
and favoring. Thus channel of corruption begins from politicians to bureaucrats then pass to most Government machineries;
bribe becomes wheels of planning and movement of files. Rise in cost of political
campaign has resulted immense financial dependence. Individuals with financial
capacity or who are able to raise huge funds considered having more chances of eligibility. Thus is an investment, would always
expect high returns. Interest of elected member is tilted to favor financers
or who favors. Government machineries become trade representatives’ of corporate sectors. Population when vote to elect
expect the development and solutions to the problems get cheated.
Corruption becomes the base for development programs, especially
in developing countries. Development funds allocated does not reach or reaches only part. Advantages go to corporate sectors
who then rule as they want. In many cases privatization or reform programs considered in their interest, as a result products/
services are monopolized. Final customers feel squeezed, without any alternate or options. So benefit of reform finally meant
for capitalists not the citizens. Especially, energy, gas, information and technology
or other essentials, these do not reach adequately to poor and interior rural villages so are most affected. Rich and medium
class take advantage to rise and poor remains poor.
We elect the politicians to act for capitalists. Lack of public awareness is the major cause of political disaster. The democracy system
evolved in such a pattern that without money election campaign is defeated. Real leaders remain unseen. Money rules the world,
irrespective of its legitimacy or illegitimacy. We are the people of this world responsible for this situation and the future
is going to be with more problems if capitalism is not under controlled. Capitalism is good as long as it does not extend
wings to govern the Government and its population. World should not allow the capitalists or their representatives (politicians)
to over act. Best way is to elect people who are not financed by capitalists, these parties may
be unnoticed and small; yet they will act as real representatives of country people. Political reformation in this world is the most urgent task
for wise people to take charge. Democracy
does not mean only rich to rise, even poor need their share.
Purpose of trade is defeated by immoral political objectives. Growth
tends to limit in limited population. Poor do not get share of the growth policy. Most developing countries facts are different
from what is portrayed to outside world. Real facts some times are manipulated
for own interest. 51 percent of the world's 100 hundred wealthiest bodies are corporations. 20%
of the population in the developed nations, consume 86% of the worlds goods. Nearly a billion people entered the 21st century
unable to read a book or sign their names (facts by globalissue.org). All above figures indicate imbalanced distributioin of world development and growth. The growth has been controlled by
capatilists and do not let through to world equally. For more figures please CLICK below link of global issue.org
Illicit trade: Illicit trade is dangerously successful trade and fast earning
source. The literate, semi-literate and illiterate unemployed or inadequate income groups are associated with this. Surprisingly
flourishes mostly in developing/ poor world; growing uncontrolled. Illicit trade is the root source of income to terrorism
and other violence activities. Contribution to its growth is by the mislead youths as they are the soldiers of this domain,
who find this opportunity as better or absence of opportunities motivate them to indulge in these activities. Corrupt local politicians and bureaucrats are the helping hands
to its promotion through information of the movements to escape and sustain. Terrorists/ militants mainly survive because of this flourishing
trade. With the help of terrorism scope of illicit trade too widens. The major fund for terrorism is generated through these
activities to procure weapons and other essentials of violence. So, growth of illicit trade is in their interest of terrorism.
More and more mislead youths get recruited with plenty of rewards, to shape violence and its planning to destabilize the world
order. Terrorism has emerged as strong with its money power. We should not take illicit trade lightly as its roots have penetrated
deep. Reasons of its strengthening may be: Poverty,
absence or adequate opportunities, corruption, weak laws, intelligence lapses by Governments, inadequate rural urban development
planning and etc. Growth of illicit trade means is growth of terrorism. Poverty, corruption and unemployment beside others; are the major factors that determines the strength
of terrorism. Controlling this will certainly curb illicit trade thus to affect resources for terrorism. Finally illicit trade is the root for survival of terrorism.
